This and that (Spreadshirt Affiliate Page, Bauer Agency Cup, Derby Store Opening)

I’ve been disregarding my blog lately. There’s just so much going on at the moment. I don’t even make it to read all the weblogs I used to read. Maybe I have to drop some more.

On the one hand there’s work which is busy as always especially with the affiliate page approaching the launch eventually. I really like it and we are excited to see whether our (potential) affiliates will accept it to inform themselves about what’s going on with our programmes.

Also the product feed for our UK programme on Commission Junction is on line now. I believe there’s a potential especially for affiliates who run shopping websites. Some of them were waiting for it for quite some time. Let’s see how it all works out.

And then there are interesting events like the studivz (German social network, Facebook copy) party as well as the Bauer Agency Cup on last Saturday. Both were kind of nice and had their individual advantages. Once again pictures are provided by Kolja (own Flickr account will be coming soon).

Furthermore on Thursday we’ll be going to Berlin one more time to celebrate the opening of the Derby Store. Actually it already is opened. However we’d like to make it official now. The attendance list is getting bigger and bigger.

Zanox make more money

A little late but not too late here’s some feedback on last Sunday’s zanox party in Berlin. It’s been a nice event with more than 200 people attending. The weather was as perfect as the view you had from this terrace and the World Cup match they broadcasted in the evening was not too bad either. Three foosball tables helped to get in touch with some attendees.

However I had the impression that there were too many ladies and gents who had nothing to do with Online Marketing, especially not Affiliate Marketing. Another 20% wore orange shirts which kind of made them come out as zanox employees. Therefore to me it’s been moreless some random party with free drinks and football entertainment.

Also it was tough to figure out what m³ actually stands for - make more money. Well known features that are now made available for affiliates for free.

Anyway I still had the chance to get to know a few people. However I think in the future it will make more and more sense to attend those events as it’s fun and interesting to meet the people you usually work with over the phone or via webchats and emails. Kind of deepens the relationship.

As I don’t have a proper flickr account yet (and didn’t bring a camera also) please find some really nice snap-shots here, kindly taken and published by Kolja Hebenstreit.

Zanox m³ World Cup Party

On Sunday there’s the World Cup Fever @zanox Party in Berlin. It takes place in their headquarters in Berlin on a big terrace which lies above the Spree.

After some Networking and Barbecue they’ll show the World Cup finals (otherwise no one would show up probably). I expect it to be a nice event with a lot of interesting merchants and affiliates being there.
We are planning to participate with a decent group of Spreaders in Berlin.
