Affili.net is running this ski jumping affiliate competition on their network. It’s a flash game. Your goal is to jump as far as possible and still land standing on the skis. It just started today and will run another 3 1/2 weeks. In the terms and conditions it says the player with the highest score wins. If the first place is shared by different players the one that reached the score first wins.
I think I figured out that there’s a maximum score of 4.520 points. It’s not possible to get a higher score as the result depends on the wind speed which is never higher than 3.0.
Well, guess what.. after an hour or two I reached those 4.520 points and I was first.
The winner is rewarded with 1.000 Euros. I’m still doubtful as it feels to easy but… that would be something
After a while two other competitors reached the 4.520 mark, too. On the screen shot I’m not ranked #1. The positions change.
Well, I won’t know more before December 27th. I might let you know.

What is this ‘protected by HtmlProtector crap? I can’t edit my blog properly and this note on the front page sucks big time. Does anyone have similar probs?

Edit: problem solved but sill a little angry. Obviously some java script code has been copied into all index, header and footer files. What is that? Spamming? Hacking? Spamming hackers? Crap.

Edit: Yes, it was a hack. Received an email with that info from my provider last night. Everything is fixed now. A little scary it is though.

While I’m still suffering from THE UPDATE (28 major keywords affected so far) some idiot uses my website as a playground. Clicked on my ad 73 times (fortunately Google counted it only as one) and even bought stuff from the very same merchant for 19 times! Sales popped up during the whole evening. Can you really be that bored?
Since my AdWords traffic will decrease now I spent the past few hours optimizing some things for organic search which is my new hope now
